10/10 would recommend a national park in the off season.

The off season is my favorite time to camp, boat and hike. No bugs and fewer people.

What’s off-season for a cabin in a national park? Everything that isn’t June-August? Seems crazy.

Oh hell yeah. Places like Yosemite Valley, it’s about the only time to visit.

I spent a late September weekend in Yosemite once by myself, extending a work trip. Booked a cabin right in the valley, 2 weeks in advance. Weather was glorious and the park wasn’t that crowded. Freaking amazing.
